🔴 Paul Pogba Could Return to Football! AS Monaco Eyeing a Comeback Deal After Doping Ban

French midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly in talks with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco as he eyes a potential return to professional football after serving a lengthy suspension for doping.

The former Juventus star has been out of action since September 2023 after testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone — a banned substance used to enhance physical performance.

📌 Pogba’s Doping Ban – What Happened?

Initially, Pogba was hit with a 4-year suspension, a devastating blow to his career. However, in October 2024, the ban was reduced to 1 year and 6 months following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The ruling also overturned a £4,100 fine, making it a slight silver lining in what was a dark chapter for the World Cup winner.

🔁 Comeback Loading? Monaco Interested

According to multiple European sources, AS Monaco has opened talks with Pogba for a possible signing — a move that could see him return to Ligue 1 for the first time since leaving Le Havre in his youth.

If the deal goes through, it would mark a fresh start for Pogba, who once stood among the brightest stars in world football, especially after helping France win the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

🤔 Does Paul Pogba Still Have What It Takes to Return to the Top?

👀 Why It Matters

  • Pogba’s comeback would bring massive attention back to Ligue 1.

  • Monaco could benefit from his experience and international profile.

  • Fans are eager to see if the midfielder can return to his peak form.

Can Pogba bounce back and become a force in Ligue 1 again? Or will this be a final attempt to salvage a once-stellar career?
